The problem changes when the second photographer joins
A shared calendar tells you when a shoot happens. It does not necessarily tell you who can fly a drone, whether the editor has the files, or which video is due tomorrow. A small team needs ownership of each handoff more than another place to store appointments.
Use one awkward job as your evaluation case: two services, two people, a reschedule and an editor outside the company. Ask each vendor to show who sees the change and how the job reaches delivery. Count manual messages as part of the workflow.
